A little lamp shade that I threw together with only about five minutes in design and fabrication. No welding, no tools, just a quick cut out, and hand bent with only my fingers.

These are terrible photos of the first two prototypes in my “Constructus” series of desk lamps. They are designed to be constructed to the shape and configuration you need or want. All parts are modular and can be expanded to your desired form. Here’s the kicker, 90% of the parts are recycled, the rest are energy efficient electronics.

This is one mock-up of a short series of desk lamps I am working on called “Constructus”. Think erector set lighting that you can configure to your liking or needs. I will update with more photos and descriptions when final designs are implemented.

“The Lab” floor lamp is just about complete! All that is left to do is wrap the base with leather, and toss in the electronics (still waiting on those to arrive). I am sorry the pictures are so bad, I was in a rush and the lighting was bad…

I have a few pieces of the steel finished in their new patina. The contrast is something that must be seen in person! This lamp alone already has 31 hours of machining accrued, and stands at about 80-85% completion. I need to do two more designs yesterday….

Here is a few shots of a floor lamp I have been working on. It still needs a base, steel patina, and finishing pass over all of the aluminum. So far, the fixture has been made completely of found objects. It will boast super high output (but low wattage) luminous flux dimmable emitters, and some unique finishing touches. Stay tuned for the finished product.

Thanks Potts!

Working on design for a light fixture that I have had in my head for over a year. Thanks to DUST, It’s finally coming out of my head.
