This is a little night stand lamp I made for my wife for Christmas. It consists of two pieces of .125” aluminum scrap, four rubber grommets and a lamp cord. No welding, all hand bent…
These are terrible photos of the first two prototypes in my “Constructus” series of desk lamps. They are designed to be constructed to the shape and configuration you need or want. All parts are modular and can be expanded to your desired form. Here’s the kicker, 90% of the parts are recycled, the rest are energy efficient electronics.
“The Lab” floor lamp is just about complete! All that is left to do is wrap the base with leather, and toss in the electronics (still waiting on those to arrive). I am sorry the pictures are so bad, I was in a rush and the lighting was bad…
Here is a few shots of a floor lamp I have been working on. It still needs a base, steel patina, and finishing pass over all of the aluminum. So far, the fixture has been made completely of found objects. It will boast super high output (but low wattage) luminous flux dimmable emitters, and some unique finishing touches. Stay tuned for the finished product.
Thanks Potts!
